TOOL

Bedrock Server Uptime Checker

Simply enter an IP address and port to check online status, number of users, version, and response time (ping). It automatically detects RakNet and NetherNet.

Servers I want to check

It automatically checks both RakNet (UDP) and NetherNet (TCP). For the NetherNet server, please specify the port number for server-port (TCP).

Example: play.t6server.net:19132 (T6NetWork)

How to Use the Bedrock Server Uptime Checker

This tool lets you check whether a Minecraft Bedrock Edition server is currently running from the outside. Simply enter the IP address (or domain) and port, and it will display the server’s online status, current number of players, version, MOTD, and response time (ping). It automatically detects whether the server uses RakNet or NetherNet, so you can check the status without worrying about the protocol.

Procedure

  1. Enter the server's IP address or domain name.
  2. Enter the port number (the default is 19132).
  3. Run the check and review the results.

Items to Check When "Offline" Is Displayed

  • Is the server running, and are there any errors in the startup log?
  • Check whether the port is open for UDP (both on the router and the firewall).
  • Check whether the entered IP address or domain is a value that can be accessed from outside the network (IP addresses within a home LAN cannot be verified from outside).
  • Does the port number match the setting in server.properties? The server.properties editor is a convenient tool for verifying this.

The higher the ping value, the more lag you'll feel in your controls. If the results are inconsistent, please wait a while and try measuring it several times.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between RakNet and NetherNet?

RakNet uses the traditional Bedrock communication protocol and accepts connections on a UDP port. NetherNet uses a new protocol: after establishing a connection (signaling) via TCP on the server port, it communicates with each client via UDP. This checker checks both protocols simultaneously and displays the one that responds.

It says "Offline," but it's actually running.

Please check the port settings and firewall configuration. The RakNet server must be reachable from the outside via UDP, and the NetherNet server via TCP on the specified server port. Additionally, if you check the same server multiple times in a short period, the external verification service’s cache may return outdated results.

Can you verify the private IP address (such as 192.168.x.x)?

That's not possible. Since this checker verifies information from an external server, it cannot reach addresses within your home network or "localhost." Please specify a publicly accessible address.

Where is the response time (ping) measured from?

We are sending a few light test signals from the T6NetWork server (Japan) to the target server and measuring the time it takes to receive a response. RakNet uses a UDP ping, while NetherNet measures the time it takes to establish a TCP connection. Since this is not a ping from your connection, please consider these results as a rough guide.

Can you also check the Java version of the server?

For now, it's exclusively for Bedrock (Bedrock Edition).
